The Everett resort was a picturesque place for our wedding reception and wedding weekend! Sunset coming into the sunroom (reception hall) provided a stunning backdrop for dinner, photos, and an evening to remember. Jimmy, Juli, and Moe were excellent hosts, supporters, and friends. We met with them to discuss details, particularly about table arrangements, catering, stays throughout the resort, bar options, and overall flow and timing of the day. Because of Jim and Juli’s experiences with events, our meetings were very helpful to determine realistic expectation and to have a great time! Our wedding party chose to arrive via pontoon - that was a blast and grateful for weather cooperation! Weather worked well to be able to get the ladies ready on the porch at The Marina Bar overlooking the water! Photos at the top under the pavilion were a great place to showcase the wedding party and help cue everyone to gather for dinner. We moved a few tables out to create a great space for people to enjoy the dance floor. Leftovers from the caterer we kept with us in a cabin on property and used for gathering the next day in the main Lodge. Overall fantastic weekend. It was wonderful to have a “Northwoods destination wedding“ where guests could stay at the resort and for the weekend/week!

From the moment we accidentally found the Everett Resort, we were captivated by its location, history, character & charm. Jim & Julie were incredibly helpful and attentive, making our event planning process a breeze. They worked their butts off! The venue itself is beautifully maintained and offered the perfect space for our intimate wedding. Our guests raved about the beautiful Lodge, cottages, (so tastefully decorated), fabulous food provided by Chef Jessica, fall colors and we can't forget our pilot Jim! We couldn't have asked for a more memorable experience. We highly recommend The Everett Resort to anyone looking for a venue that is both beautiful and functional.

I really can’t say enough about the Everette resort and the amazing people running it!

My husband and I held our wedding reception here for an entire weekend with our family renting out all 5 houses on the property. During the weekend we held our reception in the sunroom. For the year leading up to it, Jim and Alyssia were on top of the communication from the very beginning participating in several phone calls and touching base frequently. Whenever a question couldn’t be answered, they were prompt in figuring it out and getting the answers back to me. The accommodation and effort were unmatched, always asking for pictures to make sure they could meet (and often exceed) expectations of what I was hoping for.

The execution was even better. They had as much set up before we even arrived as they could and it was absolutely beautiful. Jim’s wife took part in a lot of the set up- they were both available for anything and everything we needed all weekend. I can honestly say I don’t think I went without much at all because they were right there to solve any problem every step of the way. There is a bar on the property with a bartender who was so kind and attentive all weekend- my guests loved him!

Lastly the property itself- so full of history and absolutely beautiful. The lake is right outside the windows and there was plenty to do on the property and off the property to keep all of my guests busy the entire weekend. Even with full houses and plenty of excitement, the walls were thick and everyone slept very well. We had around 120 people attend and every single guest had glowing comments by the end of it all! Even now, months later, we still receive comments on the weekend. My only regret is not taking more pictures to share.

Overall, such a long review but I am so incredibly grateful to have found this place. Anyone staying on the property has joked several times about a reunion in the near future. We made a much longer drive to make it work and it was worth every single minute. If you are on the fence about renting out the Everette, make the choice! You won’t be disappointed in the least 🥰 thank you for everything Jim, Julie and Alyssia!!

Weddings by The Everett Resort was a wonderful choice for our wedding venue. The communication from the staff was prompt, and they were present throughout our entire event to ensure everything went smoothly. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views that provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. The value we received for the quality of the service and amenities was fantastic. We're so grateful to the team at The Everett Resort for helping to make our wedding day truly unforgettable.

Wonderful location and venue! Communication was extremely fast and detailed. This place is beautiful. A part of history and so elegant with a stunning lake view. The staff were all so welcoming and helpful. You will not be disappointed whether you use this for a wedding, family reunion, party, etc. We will use this again!

We recently hosted our baby shower in the Sunroom at The Everett Resort and it was absolutely magical! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The sunroom itself is dreamy and whimsical... its light and airy yet cozy feel makes it the perfect setting for any event.

The owners and event coordinator were were warm, welcoming, and attentive, making the whole experience completely stress-free for us. They had everything clean, ready, and set up perfectly so we were free to add our flaire, decor, and make the space our own for the day.

Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how special the venue felt and we will forever remember this absolutely magical day! We can’t recommend The Everett Resort or the people behind it highly enough!

My son’s prenuptial dinner was hosted in the sunroom at the Everett on September 12th. It was perfect from start to finish due to the hard work of both Julie and Jim. They were so easy to work with and extremely responsive to all our needs. Their recommendation of Jessica’s Cucina was spot on for the perfect barbecue dinner. The location and decor of the sunroom provided our guests with the ultimate Northwoods experience.

We hosted our welcome party the night before our wedding at the Sunroom with the help of Alyssia! The set up of the historic sunroom was beautiful, the bar, entry space, and decor were all perfect for our event!! The communication was great and we were able to do on site planning as well as over email. Would recommend!!

Oh my word! This place is off the charts! So much room and so much to do. Felt so comfortable and at home here. Our wedding party had the best time ever. The staff was above the top and did an amazing job. What a hidden gem! Event and party options are endless here. Thanks for taking care of us so well.
Highly recommend this to larger groups for family gatherings, corporate retreats, weddings, birthday bashes, etc. This place doesn't disappoint. The bar on property was so fun too! Continued success and prosperity to you guys. Cheers!
